Attractive features of Poly amide 6 include good mechanical properties, abrasion and wear resistance, chemical resistance ( except to minural acids and phenols), oil resistance, and gas barrier performance. Melting point is high, and water absorption characteristics are favorable due to the checmical structure of the material.
